Aaron Little was called to be Pastor of First Baptist Church on January 14, 2024.  Pastor Aaron was born in Mount Pleasant, Texas and graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 2000.

Aaron continued his education receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A & M Commerce, a Master of Arts degree from Liberty University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling from the International Institute of Faith-Based Counseling.

Bro. Aaron loves spending time with his wife, Crystal and children Jonah and Callie, reading a good book, and serving the Lord in all areas of pastoral ministry.

​​Born in Rowlett, Texas, Nathan had been in the Dallas area until coming to Hawkins to serve as Student Minister in July 2020.  His own life-changing experience in a church youth group inspires him to love and engage youth with the gospel. 

Nathan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.  He loves spending time with his wife Becca and their daughter Caroline.

Donna became Office Secretary in 2019. Prior to that, she was an educator at Hawkins ISD for over 20 years.  First Baptist Church has played a vital role in her life since she was a child.  She was baptized, married, and her children, Stacy and Steven, were baptized in this church as well. What a blessing!

Donna and her husband, Mark, love spending time with their grandsons, as well as enjoying the freedom of their retirement years.  She is in the church office Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and is looking forward to the privilege of serving you.

Church Custodians

​Dale and Mark are of great value to our church community. With a broad range of experiences in their backgrounds, there really isn't much that these two can't provide service on. If there's a need to be dealt with, these guys are always eager to serve.

When Dale's not serving at the church building, you may find him in his workshop or tinkering with his impressive sports card collection. 

Mark is a perpetual student looking to learn and practice something new. He enjoys playing the guitar and dabbling in his love for aviation.
