Pastor Search

The First Baptist Church of Hawkins is accepting resumes for the position of full time Pastor.  We are a caring Christian community dedicated to the spiritual growth of the church and service to the community.  Our family- oriented, conservative, rural,  SBC congregation is mission minded with active children and youth programs.  The duties of the pastor are to promote the interest of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ and that of this church by preaching the Gospel, teaching the Word of God, leading the congregation, ministering to the people at large, and providing administrative leadership in all areas of the church.  We are looking for an individual with a Master of Divinity degree from a theological seminary along with prior experience pastoring a congregation for a minimum of 3 years.
