Dear Friends,

I am so glad to live in East Texas. There are so many good things that we enjoy here and so many problems that we
don't have to contend with. For example, we don't have to worry about icebergs in East Texas, There are some places
that icebergs are a danger (remember the Titanic), but not here. However, an iceberg is a good visual aid to describe
what people everywhere (including East Texas) contend with. An iceberg has the majority of its bulk submerged and
unseen. The part that we see is only the small part of it.

We come in contact with people every day and they are like icebergs. We only see a small part of their life. We may
not know many burdens they are carrying submerged from sight. We need to encourage them and show them patience
and love.

There is a better day coming. I am convinced that there are no icebergs in heaven and people will not be carrying
unseen burdens. Until we get to heaven, let us help each other along the way.
