At First Baptist Church of Hawkins, children are a vital part of our church family though worship, discipleship, and service.
We believe that children benefit from the experience of multi-generational worship through the sense of community, a feeling of belonging and learning how to worship God by participating in worship with their church family.
We want to work hard to give children the opportunity to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ through hands-on, age-appropriate experiences in Sunday School, Faith Friends and Bible School. Children are encouraged to serve the church and others through Children’s Choir and various ministry opportunities such as Operation Christmas Child.
Children who are involved in serving in ministry as a child will continue to serve as an adult.

Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he grows older he will not abandon it.
- Proverbs 22:6
We firmly believe that children do not need to wait until they are older to be involved in the church. They are a vital part of the church family at First Baptist Church of Hawkins NOW.
